Bringing musical magic to Court House Gallery. Merging local talent with some of the best and most diverse out-of-town talent we can muster, it’s fresh, fun, and free... and right in the centre of town!
Music In Session is on one Friday per month inside Court House Gallery from 5:30pm-7pm (October to April).

FAQs
Drinks are available for purchase at our on site bar. There is no food available on site. You are welcome to bring along snacks for the event.
There is open plan seating and beanbags available to use.
Music In Session is located inside air-conditioned comfort inside Court House Gallery, 38 Abbott Street Cairns.
No, this event is absolutely free to attend!
Because this event is located inside, the event will go on no matter the weather!
We have a regular music series each month.
- Music In Session (inside the gallery) is on from November to April.
- Out On The Lawn is the last Friday of each month from May to September (excluding August due to special programming for Cairns Festival where you can expect even more live music and activities).
Due to exhibition programming, some months it may not be possible for Music In Session to occur.
