Flame.Arts for emerging creatives

Flame.Arts is Cairns Regional Council’s arts program for young and emerging creatives in the arts, artists with a disability and First Nations artists.

There are programs and opportunities across a broad spectrum of arts and culture, including dance, music, visual arts, design, film and community arts, with activities spanning every month of the year.

Through workshops, skills development, grants, mentoring, performance and exhibition opportunities, Council’s Creative Life team – who are established creatives and arts workers themselves – are committed to igniting creative expression in Cairns.

The team brings professional development opportunities to Far North Queensland as well as sharing their own skills and industry connections, working towards our goal to turn Cairns into the Arts and Cultural capital of the North.

If you have any questions about the program, please don’t hesitate to contact the team on 4032 6634 or email flameprojects@cairns.qld.gov.au

Flame.Arts has been created to align with Cairns Regional Council's Strategy for Culture and the Arts 2022.
