Landscaping Practical Completion

On completion of the endorsed/approved landscaping in accordance with the Approval, Permit or Landscape Plan Endorsement, a Landscaping Practical Completion Inspection can be arranged.  The inspection must occur, and landscaping be established in accordance with the requirements of the endorsement/approval prior to the final landscaping inspection.

The purpose of the Landscaping Practical Completion Inspection is to ensure that the landscaping has been undertaken in accordance with the endorsed/approved plan. Any accepted variations to the endorsed/approved plans must be submitted as part of the Landscaping Practical Completion application to ensure Council has an accurate representation of the landscaping installation.

Applicants should discuss the full requirements with their Landscape Architect, Landscape Designer and Landscaping Contractor to confirm the full extent of the endorsed/approved landscaping works have been implemented and established prior to the submission for the Landscaping Practical Completion Inspection.

Generally, the Landscaper or Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer will lodge the submission to Council on the owner's behalf and attend the inspection.
