Council moved to a new website in 2021.  Meeting records from January 2021 onwards can be found using this search panel.

Meeting archive 2008-2020

The archive tool below contains Council meeting records from 2008 to 2020 only.  Records for Cairns City Council (pre-March 2008) can be supplied on email request to Council's Governance branch. Please clearly specify the meeting date/s you require.

During 2018 and 2019, certain decisions were delegated by Council to the Chief Executive Officer in accordance with Section 175E(6) of the Local Government Electoral (Implementing Stage 1 of Belcarra) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2018. These decision are registered in the Decisions delegated to the Chief Executive Officer 2019 ( PDF, 1.01 MB ) and Decisions delegated to the Chief Executive Officer 2018 ( PDF, 1.46 MB ).

Search tips for 2008-2020 archive

1. Choose a meeting type from the list. The number in the blue circle indicates how many meetings are recorded for each type eg 33 Special Meetings, 188 Ordinary meetings.
2. The Agendas, Clauses and Minutes files for the selected meeting type will display. You can browse the listed files or use the search panel to filter by year or keyword.

NOTE: Some words will appear multiple times eg "financial statements" may appear every month for Ordinary meetings. Filtering will show ALL meeting dates that contain a match to your searched term.  ALL files for that meeting date will be displayed, not just those that match your search term.
