As well as our supervised groups, we have plenty of other ways to get involved with your community, whether it's helping out at our award-winning Little Tacca's program, sharing your love of history on a guided tour, getting your neighbours involved in a communal produce garden or sprucing up your local park or reserve.

The Friends of the Botanic Gardens, Cairns are very active in raising funds to improve the precinct; holding tours, info nights and events; propagating plants; and  running a small library. New members are always welcome.
