Court House Gallery
Court House Gallery is an art gallery and performance space in the heart of the city. The gallery presents a vibrant and dynamic program of shared arts experiences, including visual and performing arts in a variety of innovative spaces in the refurbished, historic Court House building.
From Monday 4 August, Court House Gallery and Mulgrave Gallery will be operated by Cairns Art Gallery Limited.

In worldwide cultures, rites of passage are markers of birth, of reaching adulthood, getting married, elderhood, and death. Cairns artist, Ed Koumans, has been making art for six decades and this exhibition marks his elder status and celebrates his prolific oeuvre.

History
The Court House Gallery is part of an arts complex that also includes the Cairns Art Gallery. This two-acre site has been reserved since 1876 for public purposes, and both buildings were erected between the First and Second World Wars.
