The Surf Life Saving North Queensland surf sports season culminates in the 2026 North Queensland Branch Championships at stunning Ellis Beach, proudly hosted by Ellis Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Athletes and clubs will vie for championship titles in disciplines ranging from surf racing, board events as well as beach sprints. Also on the program are the Surf Rescue Championships; celebrating the skills and knowledge of surf lifesaving, CPR and sport. Come and enjoy the hospitality at what will be a newly open Ellis Beach Surf Life Saving Club and see our junior - masters lifesavers in action across an exciting 2 days of championship competition. Competition is open to members only, spectators are free and welcome to attend.
