Figurines with Armature Wire and Clay with Narelle Wilson, Artist, Ages 9–14
Create clay figurines using armature wire, giving them a strong foundation and allowing you to push your creativity to the limits. You will make your base with soft metal wire and aluminium foil. Once that is set, our air–dry clay is applied to the form, creating the actual figurine. Enjoy this fun and practical experience creating small art sculptures.
Please note: all air-dry ceramic creations will require a clean area at home to dry completely. All materials are provided.
To promote a focused and independent learning environment, we require that parents/carers do not remain in the classroom during art sessions. Students can enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
