Tomorrowland: Cairns Children's Festival Exhibition

Exhibition: Thu 1 May – Sun 18 May
Location: Court House Gallery
Launch: 5pm, Thu 1 May

Curated by Sorami Ochi

What will the world be like when our children have grown up? Our regular children’s art curator, Sorami Ochi asked that very question to the children of Cairns and our Japanese sister city, Minami.

With the help of early childhood educators in Minami, Sorami has extended the annual Children’s Festival exhibition to include works by three primary schools from the region.

Whatever vision and imagination children have for the future, can be expressed through art. Always surprising and delightful, the Cairns Children’s Festival exhibition provides kindergarten and primary school-aged children living in Far North Queensland the opportunity to have their artwork exhibited at an art gallery and receive public recognition for their creativity and skills.
