Miniature Worlds with Narelle Wilson, Artist, Ages 9–14
Cut, stick, stack and decorate your way to the ultimate tiny world! Join artist and teacher Narelle Williams to intricately craft a miniature world, building or space – good things come in small packages, after all! Get creative and invent a place that only exists in your imagination: think secret libraries, underwater cities, wizard hideouts or futuristic treehouses! Or recreate a real place in tiny detail, like Cairns Art Gallery, your favourite street, or even your own bedroom. Using paper, cardboard and found materials, you’ll plan, design and craft your own small-scale environment packed with personality, creativity and tiny details. All materials are provided. To promote a focused and independent learning environment, we require that parents/carers do not remain in the classroom during art sessions. Students can enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
