Open Late with Red Room Poetry

August is Poetry Month, the theme for 2026 is 'Be Brave'. Join six feminist poets from across Australia as they share their work and respond to this year's theme at the Cairns Art Gallery.

The evening will start with drinks and nibbles on the balcony and be bookended by an open mic section for local poets.  Presented by Red Room Poetry and this Fresh Hell. Free event. RSVP appreciated.
