Cattana Wetlands Open Day

Did you know the 80ha Cattana Wetlands used to be a sugar cane farm and sand quarry? The land was purchased by the then Mulgrave Shire Council in 1993, and to date, Cairns Regional Council has planted over 100,000 native plants at the site.
Enjoy the tranquility of the wetlands with free tours introducing the wonders of nature.

Please note Cattana Wetlands is a nature conservation reserve. No dogs allowed (registered assistance animals excepted).
