Cairns Regional Council offers free Waste Education resources to help schools, early learning centres, community groups, and households improve recycling, reduce landfill waste, and understand local waste processes. These resources encourage our community to Know Before You Throw and make simple choices that protect the place we’re lucky to live in.

We’re surrounded by reef and rainforest, and small actions at home help keep Cairns clean and green.
