Bluewater Canals dredging
Council facilitates maintenance dredging of Bluewater Canal, Half Moon Creek and the Offshore Channel in accordance with the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995.
These costs have been recovered as a Special Charge within property rates, since the development of the area in 2005.
Council only charges the costs associated with the dredging program, including spoil disposal, temporary channel markers and lights, hydrographic surveys, administration and project management.
