About the Cairns Festival RADF Grant Round

Calling all artists, arts organisations, community groups, and youth and disability services!

We invite you to express your interest in joining the Cairns Festival 2025 program. If selected, you will have the opportunity to apply for funding through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) to support your project.

We have a vision, to transform Cairns Festival into an international arts festival that presents surprising and immersive visual and performing arts experiences. We are seeking new work from local practitioners, emerging, experimental, and professional, that help us to reach this vision – to be surprising and immersive.

Application timeframe:

Complete the expression of interest form online by 5pm on Friday 30 August 2024.
Successful EOI applicants invited to apply for RADF Grant: 9 September 2024.
Cairns Festival 2025 RADF grant application: Closes 4 October 2024
Council to endorse assessors’ recommendations: 20 November 2024

An information session will be held at Tanks Arts Centre on Wednesday 14 August 6pm to 7.30pm to register email radf@cairns.qld.gov.au

Applicants can apply for up to $10,000.

collective/artist-run initiatives & groups. (Note: non-incorporated groups must be auspiced by an incorporated organisation, or an individual with an ABN)
