Cemetery search


Cemetery and burial information generated from Cairns Regional Council records. Some of these records were paper based and therefore errors may exist

Cycling and walking


Cairns' extensive network of walking paths, bike tracks and cycleways provide routes for fun, fitness, training and travel..

Inner City Commercial Area


The Inner City Commercial Area comprises land that is used, or is capable of being used, for commercial/industrial pruposes.

Contour mapping


Elevation data is available through the Queensland Globe and Geosiences Australia ELVIS portal.

Flood maps and data


Review historical flooding and 1% AEP flood event modelling. Contact Council for an individual property assessment. Note: these maps are not fit for insurance eligibility or self-assessment purposes.

Storm surge evacuation maps


Storm tide evacuation maps are a guide for people living in areas that are subject to storm tide inundation.

Coastal hazard mapping


Council's coastal hazard mapping identify areas likely to be affected by coastal erosion, storm tide inundation and sea level rise from climate change to the year 2100.

Declared water and sewerage service areas


These PDF maps of declared areas provide clarity about who can and cannot be connected to Council’s water and sewerage infrastructure.
