Council offers many venues for weddings, ceremonies, meetings and other events, including beaches and foreshores, parks and gardens, BBQs and shelters, Cairns Esplanade, Cairns Botanic Gardens, Barlow Park sporting facility, Sugarworld Parklands, Cairns Libraries and community halls.

How to book a public space

Venue booking terms & conditions

Terms and conditions apply for use of each public space. You may also be required to pay fees and charges, hold insurance and comply with other conditions. Best Practice Management Guidelines outline the venue management, hire and usage conditions for each bookable venue.
