Join Compositional Utterances artists Mandy Quadrio, Susan Hawkins and Jan Oliver for a hands-on workshop, in which participants will transform some of the artists’ favourite everyday materials into a kinetic, sound installation.
What is offered?
The objective of the workshop will be to work with sound, fibres, paper and graphite to construct small works/installations investigating materials use and the collaborative process of making and installation.
Basic outline of two-hour workshop:
- Making the elements
- Bringing the elements together
- Presenting the elements/ compositions
- Reflections
