As Constructed Data Certification
Council has adopted the As Constructed Design Certification (ACDC) online solution for the submission of as-constructed information.
ACDC, by Open Spatial, is an electronic submission portal with data validation capabilities. No additional software is required and submissions can be made from any web enabled device.
ACDC saves time and radically improves data quality through self-validation before submission and automates the direct loading of spatial and attribute data using pre-configured or user-defined standards.
Electronic submissions are able to be validated against FNQROC digital standards prior to data acceptance by Council as part of the development process.
What is ACDC?
ACDC is on online data validation portal, which allows for digital submission and acceptance of as-constructed data between applicants and Council.
How does it work?
AutoCAD drawings are submitted via a web portal specifically configured for each submitting agency.
The portal validates the digital data against the standards defined in the FNQROC manual and provides direct confirmation, or feedback on required changes.
Benefits
- A simple self-service portal
- 24-7 access for drawing approvals
- Downloadable configuration files from portal to ensure currency of AutoCAD templates
- Run multiple validations on a single drawing to ensure accuracy
- Errors are flagged and marked on the drawing for easy correction
- Ability to upload additional project documentation
- Council is able to access approved drawings directly from the portal to reduce additional provision of CAD files
- Ability to approve drawings for multiple project and stages in a single portal
Set up an account
Council will set up a single “administrator” for each external agency who will then be able to manage internal users and their permissions.
To set up an account, please contact Council’s GIS Team.
Using the account
Sign in using the ACDC web page. This will take you directly to the projects you have access to for drawing submission.
