About Cr Anna Middleton

Anna Middleton was elected as Division 7 Councillor at the 2024 local government election.

From a farming background, Anna completed high school in Brisbane before going on to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1996.

Anna is a highly regarded physiotherapist who has nearly 30 years’ experience in public and private sectors. She has run a successful local business for the past 15 years.

Anna has a strong sense of community and is well-known for supporting and volunteering for sports, schools, arts and community groups. She prides herself on engagement, advocacy and action.

Anna has been a proud Cairns and Division 7 resident for over 23 years and is committed to serving the community.

Division 7 includes Edge Hill and Whitfield, as well as parts of Manoora, Manunda and Brinsmead.
