Temporary closure of Cairns Libraries

All branches of Cairns Libraries will be temporarily closed on Friday 17 October as staff come together for an annual Professional Development Half Day.

The closures will affect:

• City, Earlville, Edmonton, Manunda, and Stratford Libraries — closed from 9am to 2pm
• Gordonvale and Babinda Libraries — closed from 9am to 2.30pm

Normal operating hours will resume after these times.

The event, held under the theme “Shaping Our Library… Together,” aims to strengthen team collaboration and support the ongoing development of library services for the Cairns community.

Cairns Libraries thanks the community for their understanding as the team takes this time to plan and prepare for the future of library services.
