Florence Street road closure for Carols event

Council will close Florence St, between Sheridan St and Grafton St, from 11.30am to 9pm on Sunday 14 December for the free Carols in the Park event at Munro Martin Parklands.

Gates open at 4pm, with the Carols show starting at 6.30pm, featuring more than 20 live performances, a special visit from Santa, and a selection of food trucks to keep families fuelled for a night of festive singing and joy.

Bring a picnic rug or chair and settle in for a two-hour night of festive fun.

For those who prefer to stay cool, the full event will be live-streamed from the Cairns Performing Arts Centre, bringing the carols experience indoors for a comfortable and air-conditioned evening of community celebration.
