Boil water notice lifted for Bartle Frere Scheme

The boil water notice in place for the Bartle Frere Scheme (including Woopen Creek) area been lifted.
Testing has confirmed that the reticulation network and water complies with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
Residents should flush out affected water from the pipes in their home.
Council thanks residents in the affected area for their patience and cooperation.
