Did you know?
Council uses recycled glass aggregate in road base and footpaths, which is processed at our own Material Recovery Facility (MRF).
Recycled glass aggregate is a cost effective and sustainable alternative to natural and quarried sand and aggregate products.
Council’s MRF has a glass crushing plant that creates a sand substitute from glass bottles and jars.
