  • Events: throughout the year, Council delivers many events suitable for pre-school and school-aged children. To find upcoming events, visit our What's On page or download the free MyCairns app.
  • Facilities: many of Council's facilities and public spaces are available for use by school and community groups. These include parks and gardens, libraries, sporting facilities, community centres, beaches and foreshores. You can find a venue and make a booking online.
  • Grants: schools, students and community groups may be eligible to apply for certain grants offered by Council. View our community grants page to see available grants, criteria, terms and conditions.
