Revegetation of Natural Areas
The Revegetation of Natural Areas grant program provides funding to improve the native habitat, enhance natural areas and improve biodiversity in Cairns.
It is essential that your application is discussed with Council officers prior to submission.

This grant provides assistance through cash. The minimum amount is $5,000 and the maximum amount per application is $20,000 (ex GST) through the following funding rounds:
- 1 May - Funding round opens
- 30 June - Funding round closes
- Early October - Applicants are notified
- Early November - All grant agreements finalised
Draft applications are encouraged and will be accepted no later than two weeks prior to the closing date of the grant round.
