There are a range of BMX and skate facilities in the throughout Cairns, ranging from the skate park on the Esplanade to skateparks and BMX pump tracks on the northern beaches and southern suburbs.

- Trinity Beach Road - Coastwatcher Park Youth Space, Trinity Beach. Replaces the decommissioned Nautilus Street skatepark. The Youth Space includes skating elements, a table tennis table, basketball court, parkour elements, soccer goal posts, bouldering wall, shade structures, seating and landscaping
