The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to provide support and advice to Cairns Regional Council to ensure the successful delivery of the program. This shall include but not be limited to:

  • Providing initiatives, ideas and suggestions as to the content of the Cairns Celebrates 150 Years program.
  • Providing advice to Cairns Regional Council regarding program delivery.
  • To help promote the program through community and business networks.

The Advisory Committee is:

  • Ken Goulthorp (CEO or delegate)
  • George Bell
  • Janine Bowmaker
  • Jon Fearon
  • Henrietta Marrie
  • Russell Millage
  • Sandi Robb
  • Ranjit Singh
  • Kesa Strieby

The Advisory Committee will be supported by:

  • The Program Project Coordinator
  • The Director Lifestyle and Community

The term of the Advisory Committee is from February 2025 – 30 June 2027.
