Tanks Arts Centre & Cairns Botanic Gardens

Sunday 17 May, 9.00am-2.00pm

Free all day.

Welcome to the ultimate creative playground – Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Botanic Gardens!

Nestled among lush rainforest, Tanks Arts Centre is a one-of-a-kind creative hub, transforming three WWII oil tanks into vibrant spaces for music, theatre, and art. Right next door, the Cairns Botanic Gardens burst with tropical wonders, winding pathways, and secret hideaways perfect for curious little explorers.

During Cairns Children's Festival, these spaces come alive with hands-on fun – think performances, workshops, and wild discoveries. Whether dancing under the trees or getting crafty in the Tanks, it’s a jungle of creativity waiting to be explored!
