We are calling out for volunteers to help us make the Children’s Festival a safe, fun and fabulous event.

Cairns Children’s Festival is back, bigger and brighter than ever in 2026! This exciting program will run over two days at Cairns Performing Arts Centre (CPAC), Cairns City Library, Tanks Arts Centre and Cairns Botanic Gardens on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2026. The festival puts our youngest creatives in the spotlight in a safe and fun environment for families to explore, create and imagine... and we’re calling for a dedicated team of volunteers to get involved and be part of the festival fun.

Once you have submitted your interest to volunteer the festival team will respond to your application with more information about the roles available for 2026.
