Creation Station: TINCAIRNS150 Zine by Amber Grossmann
TINCAIRNS150 Zine Showcases the Creativity of Cairns' Young People
One of the most inspiring outcomes of Cairns Children's Festival 2026 has arrived, with the completion of the TINCAIRNS150 Zine created through artist Amber Grossmann's Creation Station.
Throughout the festival, children were invited to imagine, design and share their ideas about the future of Cairns as part of the TINCAIRNS150 project. Their drawings, stories and creative responses have now been brought together in a digital publication that celebrates the imagination, curiosity and creativity of our region's young people.
The zine serves as a lasting record of the project, transforming a hands-on festival activity into a tangible creative outcome and providing a platform for young voices to be seen and celebrated.
From bold visions of the future to playful artistic explorations, the TINCAIRNS150 Zine captures the unique perspectives of children and highlights the importance of creativity, participation and community storytelling.
We invite you to explore the publication and discover Cairns through the eyes of its next generation.
