Positive Ageing Expo for Seniors

Celebrate seniors by spending the day at the Positive Ageing Expo.
This is a free, one-stop event where seniors can meet service providers, businesses and community groups that
focus on seniors. Stallholders will provide information and services relevant to ageing seniors.
There will be live entertainment and a sit-down lunch for local seniors.
The expo and live entertainment are free to seniors and their carers to attend, and the lunch is for seniors only.
The venue offers friendly access for wheelchairs and walkers.
Where: Cairns Performing Arts Centre, Corner Florence & Sheridan Streets, Cairns
When: Thursday 14 August 2025
- Positive Ageing Expo - 9:00am to 1:00pm with over 40 stalls
- Live entertainment - 11:00am to 12:00pm featuring the Rowly & Co band in the Main Theatre
- Seniors' Lunch - from midday in the Studio Theatre
Cost: FREE but tickets must be reserved for the lunch and live entertainment by calling TicketLink on 1300 855 835 or booking online.
There will be free parking available on site, but there is a variety of on-street and off-street parking, both paid and unpaid, available around the area.
