The Magnificent Danny & Dazzle
Date: Sunday 17 May
Times: See below
Location: Flecker Gardens
Cost: Free
Based on the children’s illustrated book The Magnificent Danny & Dazzle, this joyful live play adaptation features a cast from ARC Disability Services Inc.
Presented as an engaging live read in a fun, low-sensory environment, the performance is designed to be welcoming and accessible for audiences of all ages.
Danny and Dazzle are two very clever dragons and great friends.
Dazzle owns a magic shop and invites Danny to become her apprentice in magic.
At first, Danny makes some very funny magic mishaps, but with practice he learns to perform magic tricks. In fact, he becomes so good that Dazzle asks him to perform at the Festival with her!
This is a fun, engaging story of friendship, magic, and the confidence to try new things.
Adam Reddicliffe is an author and illustrator living in Cairns. This is Adam’s first published book and he will be performing the live read.
