Jeff Pezzutti Park upgrade
Work is now underway on the exciting upgrade that will transform Jeff Pezzutti Park, Woree into a vibrant recreation precinct that puts local families and community members first.
It includes:
- Skate park
- New playground with shade sail
- Public toilet block with accessible facilities
- New pathways and landscaping
- Safety improvements, shelters and seating
These new and upgraded inclusive activity areas are designed to bring people together, support active lifestyles and create a welcoming destination for one of the most diverse and rapidly growing communities in Cairns.
Construction is now underway with completion expected in May 2027.
