Rainy Mountain Bike Park Upgrade - Survey
Following significant damage from Tropical Cyclone Jasper in 2023, Rainy Mountain Park’s bike jumps are being upgraded. The new Bike Park will feature an intermediate (blue) jump line with six tabletop jumps ranging from 0m to 1.4m.
To improve resilience, the course is being relocated to a less flood-prone area and constructed with durable concrete ramps and a long-lasting asphalt surface.
Funding is jointly provided by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, with support from the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games.
