Our Cairns Youth Survey

The 2024 Our Cairns Youth Survey is now closed. It was open for responses from 9 August to 20 September 2024.

Stay tuned for the results.  The school with the highest survey participation rate will win a leadership workshop with Cairns Mayor, Amy Eden.

Cairns Regional Council invited young people aged 14 to 24 years old to participate in the 2024 Our Cairns Youth Survey.

Conducted every four years, the survey focuses on a wide range of topics including:

• Activities and facilities
• Your future
• Public transport
• Safety
• Environment
• Community and more!

Insights gathered from this survey will give council a deeper understanding of youth perspectives and guide council priorities for a better Cairns.
