The Cairns Botanic Gardens is one of Australia’s premier Botanic Gardens, showcasing a wide variety of native tropical and exotic plant species.
In consultation with the community, Council has undertaken a review of the Cairns Botanic Gardens Masterplan 2005, creating a new updated vision that will:
- Create new and exciting visitor experiences
- Improve connectivity and access
- Upgrade facilities and operations
- Adapt to a changing climate
- Strengthen the Gardens as a regional destination
