Cairns 2050 Shared Vision
The Cairns 2050 Shared Vision provides the foundation for our advocacy initiatives. As the principal hub for economic activity in Far North Queensland, Cairns provides the region’s major employment area, tourism and development arena and community heart.
Developed in tandem with key stakeholders, the Cairns 2050 Shared Vision seeks to position Cairns as the World’s Most Liveable and Enterprising Regional City, built upon the natural setting, existing quality of life and established character of the city.
The shared vision provides a framework as well as the individual projects, investment and policy changes necessary to deliver on that objective.
