Smithfield Library is set to reopen in April

The newly refurbished Smithfield Library is scheduled to open its doors in the second week of April welcoming the community back to a revitalised and enhanced library space.

The reopening is an exciting milestone, with thoughtfully updated spaces for families, young readers and the wider community.

We know that many families have greatly enjoyed having a temporary children’s space at Stratford Library during the refurbishment period and it has been wonderful to see the area so well used and valued by the community.

We sincerely thank everyone for embracing this temporary arrangement and for your continued understanding as we transition back to our usual library operations.

The final day of the Stratford Library children’s space will be Saturday, 28 February and the children’s program will be recommenced within the new children’s space at Smithfield library in early April.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the refreshed Smithfield Library and to continuing to provide vibrant, welcoming spaces for children and families across our library network.
