Edmonton Library is getting a refresh!

Published: 28th January 2026. (Note: information was correct at date of publication but may have since been changed or superseded.)

Edmonton Library will be temporarily closed from Monday 9 February, reopening on Monday 23 February while we give the space a much-needed refresh.

During this time, we’ll be installing new shelving and adding a fresh coat of paint to create a brighter, more vibrant environment for everyone to enjoy.

Need to return items while we’re closed? A returns bin will be available at the entrance and accessible 24/7.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to a space that’s brighter, cosier, and even more inspiring!
