Up to $500

About the Small Arts Grant

This grant offers grants of up to $500 for artists to access a wide range of resources to support their arts practice such as art materials, a catalogue, etc.

It is open all year round to the extent of available funds.

This is an out-of-round grant: applications must be submitted at least three weeks (15 business days) prior to the activity start date. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions as soon as the submission has been processed.

Please note that the purchase of capital items is ineligible.

  • Individual professional artists
  • emerging professional artists
  • artsworkers
  • cultural workers
  • project coordinators
  • collective/artist-run initiatives & groups. (Note: non-incorporated groups must be auspiced by an incorporated organisation, or an individual with an ABN)
  • incorporated arts and cultural organisation
