How Can I Help?
Start by checking in with your neighbours, family, and friends, offering help wherever you can. If you've already done so and still want to contribute to disaster recovery efforts, several organisations are available for you to contact and provide further assistance.
GIVIT is a national not-for-profit organisation connecting donors and community organisations to make sure people and communities get exactly what they need, when they need it. In partnership with government, non-profit GIVIT manages offers of donated goods, services, volunteering and money during recovery.
From emergency response to long-term recovery, the 'Salvos' stand with communities through the stages of disaster, providing financial, material, emotional and spiritual support to help rebuild lives and livelihoods.
