Work is now underway on the exciting upgrade that will transform Jeff Pezzutti Park, Woree into a vibrant recreation precinct that puts local families and community members first.

It includes:

Skate park
New playground with shade sail
Public toilet block with accessible facilities
New pathways and landscaping
Safety improvements, shelters and seating

These new and upgraded inclusive activity areas are designed to bring people together, support active lifestyles and create a welcoming destination for one of the most diverse and rapidly growing communities in Cairns.

Construction is now underway with completion expected in May 2027.
