Local Laws
Local Laws govern most of Council's roles and responsibilities including parking, swimming pools, advertising signage, animal control, outdoor dining, overgrown allotments, pests and weeds, and nuisances such as noise and dust.
The Queensland Government's online Local Laws Database is the reference source for all Local Laws and Subordinate Local Laws.
Local Laws register
Council makes and enforces Local Laws to regulate certain issues and activities including animals, camping, commercial activities, events, parking and more.

Neighbourhood complaints
Council and other government agencies regulate common activities that can cause neighbourhood conflict. Some of these are governed by Local Laws.
