The average Australian produces 23kg of textile waste every year. Cairns ECOfiesta 2018 offers a fun solution, giving old clothes a new life. Bring clothes you no longer wear to the free clothes-swap station on the day, where donated items can be redeemed for a new look. Mayor Bob Manning said, “Swapping unwanted clothes can be great fun and gives these items a new purpose”. We agree and are happy to see the Mayor embrace some tropical footwear. ECOfiesta will be held at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal on Sunday 3 June, 10am-7pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/2088674118035190/
