Are you interested in connecting with your local epilepsy community? If you are… Someone with living with epilepsy wanting to find others with shared experiences; or a healthcare professional looking to understand more about how to support your clients with epilepsy; or an educator wanting to hear first-hand how you can have a positive impact on a child with epilepsy in your classroom; the Community Connection events are for you!

Life with epilepsy can be stressful, scary and isolating, but with 1 in 10 people experiencing a seizure at some point in their lives, you are not alone.

LEARN 10am – 12.15pm

  • Understanding seizure presentation
  • Managing epilepsy
  • Managing Seizure first-aid & emergency situations
  • Emergency medication
  • $135 (+ GST) for professionals
  • FREE for people who live with epilepsy and their families.

CONNECT 12:30pm – 2pm

  • Hear from experts & speakers with lived experience
  • Connect with the local epilepsy community
  • Learn more about Epilepsy Smart Australia
  • Discover the services & supports available FREE and open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.
