ANZAC Day 2024
Events will be held across the Cairns region to recognise the spirit of ANZAC and remember those who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Events will be held around the region and the Cairns Esplanade commemorative services will be live-streamed on Council’s Facebook page and YouTube from 5:25am.

- Babinda - Dawn Service from 4am, Morning Parade and Commemorative Service from 9:45am
- Cairns - Dawn Service from 5:30am, Services Parade from 7:30am, Commemorative Service from 8am (approx).
- Edge Hill - Dawn Service from 4am
- Edmonton - Dawn Parade from 5am, Parade assembles from 6:30am
- Gordonvale - Dawn Service from 4:15am, Commemorative Service Parade from 9am
- Stratford - Commemorative Service from 9:30am
- Trinity Beach - Dawn Parade from 5:30am
- Yorkeys Knob - Commemorative Service from 8:30am
