Council reiterates its support or the Wangetti Trail

Council has reiterated its support the State Government’s plan to progress Wangetti Trail project.

Council today resolved to enter a Deed of Indemnity and become a party to the project.

In doing so, Council also noted advice from the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport that Council will not be financially responsible for the operations or maintenance of the trail.

The Wangetti Trail is expected to be Queensland’s first purpose-built walking and mountain biking track.
