Temporary closure of 50m swimming pool at Tobruk

Residents are reminded that the 50-metre lap pool at Tobruk Memorial Pool will be closed from Monday 31 July for maintenance works.

The pool needs to be drained to allow for joint sealant to be replace, which is needed to maintain a watertight seal, improve the visual appearance of the pool, and ensure the safety of patrons.

The 50m pool will be enclosed in fencing during works for public safety.

Patrons of the facility can expect some disruptions, such as increased noise and reduced access.

All other facilities, including the 25m outdoor pool, 25m indoor pool, toddler pool, the Flowrider, Coaching Zone, fitness facilities, trampoline park and kiosk will remain open.

The pool will be closed from Monday 31 July to Sunday 8 October.
