The Cairns Ecofiesta is Queensland's premier sustainability festival, a free-entry event held on the doorstep of two World Heritage areas - the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest.
The city’s tropical Munro Martin Parklands comes alive with performance, hands-on workshops, local food and family fun. Explore clean tech, chat with experts in the net zero transition and wander through market stalls offering sustainable living solutions.

Reef Resilience Showcase
The 2024 Ecofiesta will feature a Reef Resilience Showcase:
- Join Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, Australia's favourite science communicator, Dr Roger Beeden, Chief Scientist of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Dr David Wachenfeld, lead scientist of Australian Institute of Marine Science for a panel about climate change and the Great Barrier Reef.

- Explore the Reef Resilience Expo Space of local leaders and community organisations responding to its threats.
